At Lemon Health AI coach, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you:

• Create an account and set up your profile
• Fill out health assessments and questionnaires
• Interact with our AI coaching system
• Contact our support team
• Provide feedback on our services

We also automatically collect some usage information, including session recordings of how the app is used. We use these only for product improvement and debugging, and they are deleted after 90 days.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Create personalized health recommendations
• Communicate with you about your account and updates
• Respond to your comments and questions
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance our platform
• Protect against fraudulent or illegal activity

Limitations on Use of Google Workspace Data

Data accessed via Google Workspace APIs (e.g., Google Calendar) is used solely to provide and enhance the personalized features of the Lemon Health AI coach service for you. In line with Google's policies, this data is not retained or utilized for developing, improving, or training any generalized AI or ML models, and it is not sold or transferred to third parties except as needed to provide the service, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law.

We keep Google Workspace data only for as long as it is needed to provide the feature you connected it for. You can disconnect your Google account at any time in Profile → Settings → Connected accounts, or by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, we stop accessing the data immediately and delete the copies we hold within 30 days, including from backups on the schedule described below. Deleting your Lemon Health account deletes this data as well.

Data Security

Your health data is important and sensitive. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Sharing Your Information

We don't sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• With your consent or at your direction
• With service providers who work on our behalf
• To comply with laws or respond to legal requests

Your Choices

You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time through your account settings. You may also contact us directly to request access to or deletion of your personal information.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it to provide the service to you, and then delete it on the schedule set out below. While your account is open, we retain your profile, health data, and conversations with the AI coach so that your history and personalized recommendations remain available to you.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or by emailing [email protected] from the address on your account. Full instructions are on our account deletion page.

• Account, profile, health data, and AI coach conversations — deleted from our live systems within 30 days of your confirmed request.
• Encrypted backups — our database is backed up daily and backups are retained for up to 30 days. Deleted data may persist in a backup until that backup expires, after which it is destroyed. Backups are not used to restore deleted accounts, and restored data is re-deleted if a backup is ever used for disaster recovery.
• Server and security logs — retained for up to 30 days for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting, then deleted automatically.
• Analytics and product usage data — identifiers are removed within 30 days of deletion; the remaining data is aggregated so that it can no longer identify you and may be kept indefinitely in that form.
• Community content — public challenges you created and reactions or comments you left on other members' activity may be kept so that other members' feeds stay intact. You can ask us to remove them.
• Billing, tax, and other legally required records — kept for as long as applicable law requires, even after your account is deleted. These are retained only for that legal purpose and are not used for coaching or personalization. Purchase records held by Google Play and the App Store are governed by their own policies, not ours.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
